Palladium

This is not a new glaze for us, but rather a new technique for applying it and I'm so excited with the results! I think this metallic, gunmetal finish is going to be very popular at our shows this fall. Stay tuned for more pieces in this color as long as I can convince Mom to keep using it!

Kitchen Arts & Pottery

For our local fans and friends, check out the newest shop in McBee Station near Publix. Kitchen Arts & Pottery just opened three weeks ago and owner, Liz Bardsley, (former chef at Northampton) has acquired an eclectic and elegant assortment of items for cooking, serving, and entertaining. Vintage tea towels, glassware, serving pieces, oils and vinegars, jams and jellies, flavored sugars and smoked salts. She seeks responsibly made items, fairly traded, and domestic whenever possible. We are so fortunate, she is now carrying a line of our own pottery as well! Shop for Stone Lotus Pottery in person and see this gem of a store for yourself.

Here is a link to a little more about Liz and the store.

Spring Fling

We had a fun weekend to kick off the spring craft show season!
We introduced several new glaze colors (left to right)
Grape, Lilac, Lime, Lemon, and Tangerine

The lighting inside the museum isn't the best for photography, but this is a taste of what we featured.

Here's a great combination of lilac and royal blue on an egg plate.
Love this plate featuring what has become our signature color - hot textured chowder.

And we didn't forget some of our classic colors like firebrick red and forest green.
Lemon and Lime
Tangerine

Summer Colors

It was a wonderful spring craft show season for us and we are enjoying the slightly slower pace of summer.  I am going to attempt to keep this blog better updated, but you can also find us on Facebook too!  We are gearing up for more shows this fall starting as early as Labor Day Weekend at the beach!  For now, here are some of our latest listings full of fresh, summer colors.
