The old proverb says that the eyes are the window of the soul. When I saw the picture of the new coyote blue flared rim bowl, I immediately thought of that saying. When I looked at the bowl, I thought of an eye that peered into the soul of the potter. The clay begins as a lump, but it is the soul of the potter that creates a beautiful piece of pottery.

My favorite colors would have to be Teal Blue, Spring Green, Medium Rich Blue and Cobalt and their accompanying "trims". However, I think all the pieces and the different hues are absolutely lovely!

I loved the "Iron Yellow" glaze. It looks great on the bowl with the etching around the top. Also I like the bold splash of the "Cobalt Blue" glaze. These are great gifts.
